Westpac Bank invites a strategic tech leader to become Head of Technology, Wealth in Sydney. You will shape the long-term technology vision for the Wealth portfolio, translating business outcomes into a cohesive technology strategy and leading architecture, engineering and transformation initiatives.

You will partner with the CIO, CEO, and other senior stakeholders to prioritise investments, drive modernization, and accelerate growth while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technology teams in regulated environments, with strong Wealth Management exposure.
• Ability to translate business outcomes into a long-term technology vision.
• Executive presence to influence boards and governance forums.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic technology direction for Westpac Wealth and lead architecture, engineering and transformation.
• Partner with executive leaders to prioritise investments and modernization initiatives.
• Champion modern engineering practices and cultivate a culture of innovation and accountability.
