Job summary

The City of Geelong is seeking a senior technology leader to drive the strategy and delivery of digital infrastructure, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, records and information management, IT support and service delivery. You will champion customer experience, ensure secure and resilient services, and shape technology roadmaps in partnership with city leaders.

Lead modernisation efforts through cloud adoption, automation and contemporary ways of working, while guiding vendor and partner

Qualifications

Tertiary IT/CS/BIS degree with substantial leadership experience.
Proven leadership in enterprise technology services including infrastructure, cloud, apps and information management.
Strong planning, budgeting and performance management capabilities.
Experience modernising technology services, platforms and cloud.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership, setting vision and priorities aligned to the City's objectives.
Lead, mentor and develop high-performing teams with a service delivery focus.
Develop and execute technology strategies that modernise enterprise capabilities.
Champion change with modern delivery practices and product ownership models.
Oversee supplier governance and vendor relationships to ensure value and accountability.
