The Company is in search of a Head of Technical Solutions to spearhead the development and delivery of technical solutions for utility-scale wind projects in Australia. This senior technical leader will be the pivotal interface between local customers, the commercial team, and global engineering specialists. The role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, from leading the technical solution development process to supporting projects at various stages, including early assessment, turbine selection, tendering, and execution planning. The successful candidate will be expected to have a strong background in wind turbine engineering, a deep understanding of Australian grid, technical standards, and customer requirements, and the ability to engage in senior technical discussions with a variety of stakeholders.Applicants for the Head of Technical Solutions position at the company should hold a degree in a relevant engineering discipline and ideally have over 10 years' experience in wind energy, renewable energy engineering, or technical solutions, with a strong preference for those with a background in a wind turbine OEM. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in supporting utility-scale wind projects, a strong grasp of wind turbine technology, and experience in technical solution development. Key skills include the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams, strong technical risk assessment, problem-solving capabilities, and excellent communication and presentation skills. Experience with Australian grid connection requirements, particularly AEMO and NSP processes, is highly valued, as is a background in international engineering organizations. The Head of Technical Solutions will also be instrumental in the localization of products and in providing feedback to global teams on market and technology developments.
