Job summary

Capstone Recruitment is seeking a senior leader to own governance, assurance and strategy across a complex, high-risk technical property function. You will lead a team of around 20 professionals overseeing Asset Management, Engineering, Sustainability and Security for a national asset portfolio.

Ideal candidates will have proven senior leadership, deep governance/compliance experience, and a strong CRE background with facilities management expertise.

A senior leadership opportunity to take ownership of governance, assurance and strategy across a complex and high-risk technical property function, at an organisation where the physical estate is a blend of genuinely mission-critical and Corporate Real Estate.

About the role

You will lead a team of around 20 professionals delivering excellence across Asset Management, Engineering, Sustainability and Security for a complex national asset and property portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Leadership of staff and outsourced contracts


• Drive Governance, Compliance, procedural improvements and operational efficiency


• Provide expert advice to manage Risk for secure and mission Critical assets


• Develop Strategic Asset Management

About you

• Proven leadership and stakeholder management experience at a senior level


• Genuine strategic capacity, comfortable operating across the full breadth of a technical property leadership function


• A sound understanding of, and sensitivity to; governance and compliance requirements


• Strong technical capability across mechanical and electrical (M&E) building services


• Likely background in corporate real estate (CRE), with a strong understanding of facilities management and strategy for physical assets and building infrastructure
