Zusammenfassung

Cranbrook State School in Queensland is seeking a Head of Department - Student Services to lead a whole-school approach to foster a positive culture of learning where every student feels safe, valued and supported. Through collaborative leadership, proactive wellbeing strategies and strong family ties, you will promote belonging, engagement and resilience.

Provide leadership in implementing innovative strategies to improve student learning outcomes and attendance.
Monitor individual student achievement and behaviour, developing and implementing appropriate intervention strategies where required.
Coordinate support and induction strategies for new arrivals, addressing their academic, social and emotional needs in consultation with parents, staff and external agencies.
Work collaboratively with school leadership, teachers, families, higher education institutions and community organisations to develop strategies that strengthen student engagement, achievement and attendance.
Manage the human, financial, facilities and curriculum resources of the school department, while promoting socially just practices and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
