Job summary

Tamborine Mountain State High School, part of the Queensland Department of Education, seeks a highly organized Head of Department Senior Schooling to lead academic progress, engagement and transition pathways for senior students. Strong leadership capabilities and collaboration skills.
Excellent communication across staff, students and families.
Commitment to data-informed decision making that supports student achievement and wellbeing.
Experience leading senior schooling or equivalent education leadership.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership across senior schooling to monitor QCE/ATAR eligibility.
Coordinate senior education and training pathways and oversees enrolments and subject selection.
Oversee student interventions, case management and compliance with senior schooling requirements.
Foster high expectations and supportive culture for students transitioning to further education or employment.
Develop and maintain partnerships with students, families, government agencies and community groups.
