This role will coordinate key operational functions that enable effective learning and teaching across the Senior School, with a particular focus on timetabling, academic co‑curricular programs and emerging learning opportunities.

About The Role

Reporting to the Deputy Principal and Head of Senior School; the Head of Senior School Operations is a member of the Senior School Management Team and chairs the Operations Team. The role works closely with Teaching and Learning, People & Culture, and the Daily Operations Manager to ensure coordinated, senior school operational planning.

A key focus will be creating and managing the Years 7–12 timetable, including blocking, teaching allocations, rooming, yard duties, key team meetings, examination timetables and changes throughout the year. The role will balance student choice, curriculum and wellbeing priorities, staff expertise and availability, and the needs of partner programs, including the collaborative coordinate program Ruyton Girls’ School.

The role is also the designated owner of the whole‑school calendar and oversees academic operations for Years 7–12, including event planning, logistics, communications, staffing, attendance processes and compliance. It provides oversight of academic co‑curricular programs, groups and clubs, the School Points allocation system, and international, interstate and local trips and tours.
