Job summary

HorizonOne Recruitment is seeking an experienced Manager, Secondary Systems and Network Design in Canberra. You will lead the network design function, oversee SCADA and telecom systems, and guide an engineering team through capital programs to improve reliability and service.

You will manage budgets, contracts and regulatory reporting, while aligning work with network plans and standards. A strong track record in leadership across complex, industrial environments is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering with significant leadership experience.
• Experience managing large capital and operational programs.
• Knowledge of asset management practices and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical design authority for network assets and programs.
• Lead a team of engineers, designers and technicians in delivery of design programs.
• Manage budgets, contracts and relationships with asset management groups.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and reporting obligations are met.
