Job summary

Yarra Ranges Council in Victoria is seeking a Head of Regulatory Services to lead Community Safety, Parking Enforcement and related teams. You will guide day-to-day delivery, balance enforcement with prevention, and ensure decisions are lawful and evidence-based.

The role offers a 12-month full-time contract (38 hours per week), hybrid working, a Band 8 salary ($132,089-$142,407 p.a. plus super), and generous leave.

Qualifications

• Experience leading regulatory services in local government, including community safety, parking enforcement, animal management or local laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead Council’s Community Safety, Parking Enforcement and Systems, Services and Data teams to balance enforcement with prevention, education and responsive customer service.
