Job summary

Fremantle Ports invites applications for a senior Project Controls Leader to steer governance, cost management and planning across the KBT Redevelopment. You will oversee forecasting, reporting and risk management, partnering with delivery, procurement and finance teams to optimise outcomes.

You will lead a team of project controls professionals, drive continuous improvement, and ensure robust controls frameworks across a major infrastructure program.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Project Management or related discipline.
• Proven experience in project controls within major infrastructure.
• Strong leadership of high-performing teams in complex environments.
• Advanced scheduling, earned value management, risk and change control knowledge.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement with senior leadership and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead project controls governance, standards and best-practice frameworks across the KBT Redevelopment.
• Oversee project cost performance, forecasting, cash flow, CAPEX/OPEX management and financial reporting.
• Drive integrated planning, scheduling and performance management across the project portfolio.
• Deliver insightful reporting, dashboards and executive-level project performance analysis.
• Lead risk, change control and issue management processes to support successful project outcomes.
• Partner with project delivery, finance, procurement and service providers to influence business decisions and optimise project performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across project controls systems, processes and reporting capabilities.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of project controls professionals, building a culture of accountability and high performance.
