Job summary

High Speed Rail Authority seeks a senior leader to direct land acquisition, precinct strategy and place integration for the Newcastle–Sydney corridor. You will own planning requirements, embed them through development, and provide authoritative guidance to executives and the board.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, integrate corridors with communities, and drive regional growth while ensuring alignment with government priorities and delivery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience in strategic planning and major infrastructure.
• Expertise in transport planning, land-use integration and precinct development.
• Ability to translate planning and place outcomes into clear project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set the network-wide strategy and precinct frameworks for the High Speed Rail network.
• Lead precinct strategies and place frameworks connecting stations with transport, communities and development.
• Drive regional growth and align with housing, infrastructure and economic programs.
