Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Physical Security seeks a Security Program Manager Team Lead to join our team in Australia. The role oversees physical security design and installation for data centers, expansions, and special projects, aligning security with operations and industry standards.

You will lead and develop a team, work with Cluster Security Managers and Data Center Engineering Operations, and author security concepts, CONOPS, and contracts while managing multiple vendor

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in physical security design and/or implementation of electronic security systems.
• 5+ years of experience in program or project management leading technical and non-technical teams.
• 3+ years of people management and team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead physical security design and system installation for new data centers, data center expansions and special projects.
• Provide physical security project lifecycle management including bid packages, specifications, drawings, code compliance, vendor management, budget, change orders, and close-out documentation.
• Manage vendor on-boarding, RFP/RFQ bidding, contracting, contract execution, QA/QC, and support processes.
• Effectively and accurately manage multi-million dollar security project budgets and track the finance and budgeting process.
• Represent physical security team acceptance, sign-off, and operational readiness validation for high security facilities.
• Report performance metrics such as installation performance, spend vs. budget, cost reduction, post-installation defect rates, and program analysis.
• Collaborate across teams to drive global, regional, and local security initiatives.
• Support Cluster Security Managers by providing physical security analysis and recommended program enhancements.
• Occasional travel to AWS facilities in Australia to support design and installation activities.
