Job summary

Warrikal is seeking an experienced Head of People & Culture to lead the P&C function, partnering with CEO and Operations to drive growth and safe, sustainable performance across site, FIFO and corporate teams.

You will shape the people strategy, advise on employee relations and performance, and leverage data to support executive decision-making in a mining services environment.

Qualifications

• Experience partnering with Operations and senior leadership in an operational workforce environment.
• Strong knowledge of employee and industrial relations, including Australian employment law and Fair Work.
• Understanding site-based and FIFO workforce needs in mining, resources or heavy industry.

Warrikal is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Head of People & Culture to lead our P&C function and shape our people strategy as the business continues to grow. Reporting to the CEO, this is a key leadership role working closely with Executive and Operations teams to ensure our people strategy supports safe, productive and sustainable operational performance. We are looking for a P&C leader with strong operational exposure who understands the pace and complexity of a mining services environment and can confidently partner with leaders across both site and corporate teams.

The Role

You will lead Warrikal’s People & Culture function and partner closely with Executive and Operations leadership to support business growth and operational performance.

About You

You are an experienced and commercially minded People & Culture leader with strong operational exposure and an understanding of the pace and complexity of a mining, resources, engineering, construction or heavy industrial environment.

You Will Bring

• Experience partnering closely with Operations and senior leadership in an operational workforce environment.
• Demonstrated capability across employee and industrial relations, including Australian employment law, Fair Work, Awards and enterprise agreements.
• An understanding of the people and workforce requirements of site-based and FIFO operations across mining, resources or other operational environments.
• Excellent communication skills, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• A visible and pragmatic leadership style, with the ability to build credibility across operational and corporate teams.
• Integrity, discretion and a commitment to building high-performing teams.
