Job summary

Civeo Australia seeks a General Manager - Remuneration & Payroll to lead payroll delivery and remuneration governance across Australia. You will drive incentive programs and provide workforce insights to enable performance and strategic decision-making.

Reporting to the Executive General Manager, People & Culture, you will partner with Finance and operations, lead a high-performing team, and continuously improve payroll operations and employee experience.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in payroll and remuneration within a large organisation.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, awards and enterprise agreements.
• Experience leading change, process improvements and systems transformation.
• Ability to translate data into strategic workforce insights and decisions.
• Proven ability to manage external providers and governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and governance across payroll, remuneration and reward functions.
• Oversee accurate, compliant and timely payroll services with robust controls.
• Lead remuneration frameworks, salary structures and annual reviews, including incentives.
• Partner with executives to advise on workforce costs, remuneration strategy and governance.
• Deliver workforce, payroll and remuneration analytics to support planning and budgeting.
• Drive process improvement, systems enhancements and operational excellence.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team with accountability and service focus.
• Manage relationships with external providers and advisors for service delivery.
• Support People & Culture initiatives and business transformation projects.
