Job summary

Green Light is seeking an experienced Head of Operations to strengthen our operational foundations and support rapid growth across Australia, New Zealand and Asia. This hands-on leader will oversee business operations, contracts, systems, HR and continuous improvement.

You will turn business goals into practical initiatives, balance strategic oversight with getting things done, and serve as a key point of contact for operational matters across the business.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve business processes, reduce unnecessary administration and support a more efficient and scalable operating environment.
• Review and improve operational systems, tools and workflows across the business.
• Bring together stakeholders from different areas of the business to understand requirements, assess options and develop practical business cases.
• Lead the implementation of approved operational improvement projects.
• Develop clear, accessible processes and operational guidance for the wider business.
• Lead the contracts and administration function, including contractor agreements, employment documentation and onboarding paperwork.
• Oversee the administration of customer agreements, including master services agreements, statements of work and terms and conditions.
• Maintain accurate and consistent agreement templates and support timely contract turnaround.
• Work with internal stakeholders to make onboarding and contract processes straightforward for customers, contractors and employees.
• Assess how technology can better support Green Light’s business processes and continued growth.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve the user experience across internal platforms.
• Coordinate input from teams across the business when evaluating new systems or improvements to existing platforms.
• Support the business through system changes, implementation and adoption.
• Support managers with employee onboarding, workplace health and safety, exit processes and the handling of workplace matters.
• Help create a positive, practical and supportive employee experience.
• Coordinate employee feedback initiatives and assist teams to develop and implement appropriate action plans.
• Support leaders to identify training priorities and develop plans for their teams.
• Lead and develop the Operations team through regular communication, coaching and support.
• Support the development and maintenance of operational policies, procedures and controls.
• Lead business-wide accreditation and certification initiatives, including relevant quality, security and contractor management standards.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure operational requirements are understood and embedded across the business.
• Oversee the day‑to‑day operational requirements that help our teams work effectively.
• Coordinate business travel, office services, insurance administration and other general operational activities.
• Support company events, employee initiatives and team activities.
