Job summary

BIG PICTURE HOLDINGS LIMITED is seeking a full-time Head of Operations for Australia & New Zealand, based in Botany or Scoresby with flexibility for Sydney or Melbourne. The role leads all operational activities across the organisation for live events and AV production, including logistics.

You will head a multi-site operations team, align processes with business goals, and drive WHS compliance while delivering world-class productions across the APAC region. ERP familiarity (EasyJob) is valued.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in live events or broadcast environments.
• Strong technical understanding of production systems.
• Strong working knowledge of logistics for shipping equipment by road and sea, domestic and international.
• Experience leading and managing teams in both administrative and technical roles.
• Ability to work well under pressure and communicate clearly.
• Experience with ERP software (EasyJob) is highly regarded.
• Prior touring/corporate AV or large-scale event experience is advantageous.
• Operationally and technically driven, hands-on and solutions-oriented.
• Reliable, professional and self-managed.
• Strong communicator and client-facing.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all operational activities across the organisation.
• Lead an operations team across multiple locations to foster a unified culture.
• Collaborate with PMs, tech, warehouse and crewing to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Work with Senior Leadership to align operational processes with company goals.
• Support WHS procedures and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of inventory and maintenance schedules.
