Job summary

Flinders University in Bedford Park, South Australia, invites applications for the Head of the Doctor of Medicine (MD) Program—a continuing, full-time leadership role. You will provide strategic educational leadership for planning, delivery, QA and accreditation of the MD Program across metropolitan, rural and NT sites.

You will work with academic and clinical educators, staff and partners to deliver an integrated, contemporary curriculum that meets accreditation requirements and prepares

Qualifications

• Experience leading medical education programs.
• Knowledge of Australian Medical Council accreditation standards.
• Evidence of excellence in teaching and academic leadership.
• Ability to lead curriculum innovation and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic oversight of the MD Program, including assessment policy.
• Lead initiatives promoting excellence, innovation and scholarship in teaching.
• Oversee student progression, fitness to practise and student support.
• Act as a key academic leader for students, staff and clinical partners.
• Provide counselling and professional advice to students on studies and career opportunities.
