St Scholastica’s College Glebe in Sydney seeks an experienced Head of Mathematics to lead the Mathematics Faculty for Years 7–12, including advanced levels. The role focuses on curriculum innovation, mentoring staff, and promoting numeracy across the school within a Catholic independent girls’ boarding context.

Qualifications

• Proven success teaching Mathematics Advanced; Extension 1 and 2 advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Stage 4–6 Mathematics curriculum and HSC requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a faculty leadership role.
• Track record of achieving outstanding student learning outcomes.
• Excellence in curriculum leadership, teacher mentoring and staff development.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• A passion for inspiring young women to pursue excellence in STEM and Mathematics.
• Commitment to the values, culture and community of an independent girls' boarding school.
• Accreditation with NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) and eligibility to teach in NSW.
• Current NSW Working With Children Check.
