Job summary

Coolum Beach Christian College is seeking a faith-filled educator to lead the Mathematics curriculum in the Secondary College, commencing in 2027 or Term 4 for the right candidate. This role includes a teaching load plus time-release for leadership responsibilities.

The successful applicant will hold appropriate teaching qualifications and QCT registration, and be committed to student wellbeing and professional growth within a Christian school community.

About the role

Coolum Beach Christian College (CBCC) is seeking applications from passionate, faith-filled educators who are seeking additional responsibility, leading the Math curriculum within our Secondary College. This role will commence in 2027, or Term 4 for the right candidate.

Selection Criteria

• SC1 Evidence of active involvement in a Christian denomination and/or a demonstrated willingness and ability to support the Christian ethos of the School, including its worship and devotional life. We would love to know your faith journey.
• SC2 Demonstrated personal and interpersonal skills that foster positive, respectful and collaborative relationships with students, colleagues, families and the wider school community.
• SC3 Demonstrated knowledge and application of current, evidence-informed best practice in teaching and learning, including purposeful planning, differentiation, assessment and the use of data and evidence to support high-quality learning and improved student outcomes. Please reference any leadership roles you have had/Head of Math experience previously.
• SC4 Demonstrated understanding of restorative practices and the ability to establish positive, safe and supportive learning environments that promote student wellbeing, engagement and positive behaviour.
