Job summary

Mygration Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Head of Logistics in Chatswood, NSW, to lead end-to-end supply chain for perishable farming operations. The role combines strategy, team leadership, and hands-on execution to ensure on-time, cost-efficient product flow.

You will manage logistics, warehousing, and distribution teams, drive ERP/WMS/TMS initiatives, and ensure Australian food safety standards. Hybrid work with travel to farms and hubs is available.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in logistics with leadership experience.
• Experience in agriculture/food supply chain desirable.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills; proficient with ERP/WMS/TMS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the end‑to‑end logistics strategy aligned with growth goals.
• Lead and develop the logistics, warehousing, and distribution teams; foster a safety‑ and performance‑driven culture.
• Plan demand and inventory with production, manage cold‑chain logistics, and optimize stock levels.
• Oversee inbound/outbound transportation, carrier selection, rate negotiation, routing, and last‑mile delivery.
• Ensure food safety, product traceability, labelling, and regulatory compliance (Australian standards).
• Implement and optimize ERP/WMS/TMS solutions; leverage data to drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor KPIs (OTIF, order accuracy, transport cost per unit, inventory turns, spoilage, safety).
