Qualifications

• Law degree and current admission to practice in Australia.
• Experience leading, supervising or mentoring lawyers at a senior level.
• Strong understanding of NSW workers compensation policy and practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the legal team with coaching and succession planning.
• Provide senior technical leadership on complex workers compensation matters.
• Manage external legal panel, ensuring quality, cost and service outcomes.
• Shape the legal function's strategy, governance, and continuous improvement.
• Represent the business to regulators, scheme partners and senior stakeholders.
