Job summary

SchoolHouse is partnering with a co-educational Anglican School in the Hills District of Sydney to appoint a Head of K-12 Music. This full-time, permanent role leads the music program, shapes a cohesive curriculum, and mentors students while collaborating with a dedicated teaching team.

The successful candidate will drive pedagogical excellence, foster pastoral care through the arts, and ensure alignment with school values within a supportive community environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications (Bachelor of Education, etc.).
• Current NESA Accreditation and WWCC (or eligibility to gain).
• Appropriate qualifications and experience teaching subjects outlined above.
• Motivation and a passion to work with and support young people on their journey through secondary education.
• Enthusiasm and flexibility with the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
• Ability and desire to actively support the values and ethos of the school.
