Job summary

Coonamble Shire Council is seeking an experienced Manager Infrastructure Programming based in Coonamble, NSW. You will lead a newly formed team, shape long-term capital works and asset management across roads, bridges, stormwater and community assets, while influencing prioritisation and program delivery.

You’ll report to the Director Infrastructure and drive strategic programming, performance, budgets and procurement, with relocations and housing assistance available to support the move.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading infrastructure programs and capital works delivery.
• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Project Management or Asset Management.
• Experience managing budgets, procurement and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure planning, programming and capital works delivery.
• Develop strategic work programs aligned with Council priorities.
• Coordinate projects, budgets, procurement and resource planning.
• Build and mentor a multidisciplinary team.
• Oversee inspections across roads, bridges, stormwater and public assets.
• Manage relationships with contractors, consultants and government agencies.
