Wesley College Melbourne, located at Elsternwick, seeks a collaborative leader to guide the Individual Needs program from Prep to Year 9. The role combines strategic direction, team leadership and classroom teaching within the Primary Needs program, with strong family and specialist partnerships.

The 0.8 to 1.0 FTE fixed-term position runs for six months (Terms 1 and 2), commencing 21 January 2027, and requires qualifications in Inclusive Education or Learning Support.

Qualifications

• Inclusive Education or Learning Support qualification is required.
• Experience in learning support, inclusion or student wellbeing, ideally in a leadership capacity.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, relational approach.

Responsabilités

• Set the strategic direction for student support from ECLC to Year 9.
• Lead and mentor a team of educators and support staff.
• Teach in the Individual Needs Primary Program and stay connected to classroom learning.
• Build strong partnerships with families, teachers and specialists.
• Champion the College's Vision and Values for every learner.
