Job summary

Department of Communities in Western Australia is seeking an Assistant Director ICT Strategy and Investment to drive alignment between ICT strategy, services and digital transformation. You will set architecture standards, strategies, plans and processes for adopting changes.

You will establish and monitor ICT investment initiatives from concept to business case, assess risks arising from changes to systems or projects, and provide strategic advice on emerging technologies to support service

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance and alignment between Departmental Strategies, Services and Digital transformation activities by setting ICT Architecture Reference Standards, Strategy, Plans and Processes.
• Establishing and monitoring ICT Investment initiatives from concept to business case and assessing consequences and risks arising from changes to Systems or Projects.
• Providing strategic advice concerning emerging Information and technology best practise, technologies and trends for ICT service delivery.
• Represents the Department and Directorate in consultations and negotiations with Government Agencies and other relevant bodies.
