Job summary

Rostrevor College invites applications for Head of Faculty – The Arts, commencing January 2027. The successful applicant will provide inspirational leadership across Years 7–12, guiding curriculum development, pedagogy and reporting in line with Australian Curriculum and SACE requirements.

Working with the Director of Teaching & Learning and the College Leadership Team, the Head of Faculty will lead data-informed practice, mentor staff, and champion high-quality teaching and learning experiences

Qualifications

• Experience leading curriculum development and assessment.
• Strong data-driven approach with evidence-informed practice.
• Ability to mentor and support staff across a learning area.

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum development for The Arts across Years 7–12.
• Oversee pedagogy, assessment and reporting aligned with Australian Curriculum and SACE.

The Head of Faculty will provide leadership in curriculum development, pedagogy, assessment and reporting, ensuring faculty programs align with the Australian Curriculum, SACE requirements and the College's strategic priorities. Working closely with the Director of Teaching & Learning, Director of Data & Innovation and College Leadership Team, the successful applicant will lead data, research and evidence informed practice, mentor and support staff, and champion high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
