Job summary

icare in Sydney CBD is seeking a Head of Enterprise Risk to lead the risk function, shape strategy and strengthen risk culture across the business. You will partner with executives to drive the enterprise risk management program and risk framework execution.

This permanent, full-time role reports to senior leadership, collaborates with the Risk & Compliance team, and focuses on robust risk advice, assurance and multi-year risk uplift initiatives. A competitive package is offered.

Qualifications

• Must have enterprise risk leadership experience.
• Strong governance and regulatory knowledge.
• Proven ability to influence executives and senior stakeholders.
• Experience in risk management within insurance/public sector.
• Sound judgement in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive enterprise risk management framework implementation across icare.
• Lead risk maturity programs and prioritise uplift initiatives.
• Oversee risk and control environment quality and SME oversight.
• Manage team roles for cross-skilling across SME areas.
• Collaborate with Line 1 Risk and provide risk insights to leadership.
