Job summary

Hume Anglican Grammar is seeking a Head of eLearning to lead the school's technology-enhanced learning strategy across multiple campuses. This ongoing 1.0 FTE role includes a Level 4 leadership allowance and time release to support homeroom duties or equivalent, with campus placement depending on workload.

The Head of eLearning will manage up to four eLearning coordinators and collaborate with staff to integrate technology across subjects, ensuring strong outcomes and professional learning

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications
• High level understanding of ICT for use in schools
• Significant experience using technology to enhance student learning
• Expert knowledge of the learning management system and its integration with admin databases
• Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
• Interpersonal skills to support and motivate staff and students
• Initiative, energy and enthusiasm for innovations in teaching
• Commitment to professional learning and continuous improvement
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build stakeholder relationships
• Ability to motivate staff and influence student learning development
• Sound planning, analytical and strategic thinking abilities
• Resourceful team leadership in a mentoring, collaborative environment
• Current teaching registration in Victoria

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of up to four eLearning coordinators delivering school programs
• Support teaching staff to embed technology in learning across campuses
• Oversee Canvas LMS administration, content, and integrations
• Collaborate with IT and teaching staff to enhance digital systems with educational value
• Promote a high-performance culture and continuous improvement in tech-enabled learning
