Job summary

Hume Anglican Grammar in Kalkallo is seeking a Teacher Librarian (1.0 FTE) commencing 25 January 2027. The role centers on leading the Learning Resource Centre and advancing information literacy and reading culture across Prep to Year 12.

You will collaborate with the Head of Teaching and Learning, campus leaders and Curriculum Heads to design library, literacy and digital citizenship programs, and occasionally travel between campuses in your private vehicle.

Qualifications

• Must have Victorian teaching registration and experience in a school library setting.
• Strong understanding of information literacy and digital citizenship.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for working with young people and supporting student achievement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Learning Resource Centre and promote reading and inquiry.
• Collaborate with teaching staff across campuses to design library programs.
• Develop information literacy and digital citizenship programs.
• Support staff and students in locating and evaluating resources.
