Job summary

The National Art School invites applications for a permanent Full-time Head of Drawing. The role leads the Drawing curriculum across the BFA and postgraduate programs, delivering core units in observational and experimental drawing within a supportive academic framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level and above qualifications in Fine Art or related discipline.
• Evidence of advanced study in studio practice and research.
• Experience in leading academic drawing programs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of the Drawing curriculum for BFA and postgraduate courses.
• Provide academic governance and supervise permanent and sessional staff.
• Oversee budget, resources and learning materials for Drawing units.
• Represent the School at internal and external events and governance forums.
