PhD or equivalent with significant academic leadership, creative practice, research or scholarly achievement.
Senior leadership experience within higher education is required.
A strong record in visual arts education, creative or curatorial practice, research or scholarly activity.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership across educational vision, curriculum development, academic quality, governance, student experience, regulatory compliance and future academic growth.
Safeguard NAS's studio-based pedagogy while advancing national and international standing in visual arts education.
Ensure robust academic governance and reporting to Academic Board and committees.
Cultivate partnerships nationally and internationally across higher education, visual arts, government, cultural organisations and research sectors.
Lead and support an academic leadership group to foster a collaborative, inclusive culture.
