Job summary

About the role

Reporting to the General Manager, Digital Transformation and Technology Services, the Head of Digital Business Transformation will lead the design, delivery and embedding of CHW's digital transformation programs and projects and is accountable for realising their intended benefits. This full-time, fixed-term role leads a team of Project Managers, Business Analysts and specialist resources. The Head will be responsible for program planning and governance, budgets, vendor and contract performance, and process mapping and redesign. The Head will also support the development and implementation of CHW's digital and AI strategies, including AI pipelines, business value assessments and governance controls, and will support contributions to the Board and its sub-committees. Key to success will be treating transformation as a matter of people, processes and organisational outcomes rather than technology, with a focus on adoption, change management and measurable benefits aligned to Strategy 2040.

About you

Qualified in information or digital technology, project management or a related discipline, you bring extensive leadership experience in IT, digital and AI strategy development and implementation. You have led digital transformation programs that delivered measurable benefits for customers and employees, ideally in a utility or public sector environment. You have also led change and cultural transformation at an organisational or major function level. Your financial, risk and strategic management skills are matched by an understanding of the statutory and legislative requirements for projects. A collaborative and inclusive leader, you build trust with internal and external stakeholders, coach teams in digital and AI processes, and explain complex technical issues in plain terms. A current Victorian driver's licence is required.
