Job summary

Redpath Partners has engaged a growing Sydney construction business to appoint a Head of Construction to lead its expanding head contracting operation. You will oversee overall construction across multiple live projects and guide Project Managers and on-site teams to deliver at scale.

You will shape the construction function, develop the team and partner with Directors to drive the business’s growth trajectory in residential and mixed-use projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading multiple live projects in head contractor or developer-builder environments.
• Strong capability to shape construction function, develop teams and influence growth strategy.
• Track record of delivering large-scale residential or mixed-use projects.

A growing Sydney construction business is looking to appoint a Head of Construction to lead its expanding head contracting operation.

Originally established delivering its own developments, the business has evolved into third-party head contracting and currently has three live projects, with further opportunities progressing through the pipeline.

This is a key leadership appointment with genuine influence over how the construction business grows.

The Opportunity

Who We’re Looking For

You’ll be an established Construction Manager / Head of Construction / senior delivery leader with a strong background working for a reputable head contractor or developer-builder.

You’ll have delivered large-scale residential or mixed-use projects, led multiple project teams and be comfortable operating at both a strategic and hands-on delivery level.

Importantly, this isn't a role for someone looking to simply oversee the status quo. The business is growing, and they want someone who can help shape the construction function, develop the team and play a significant role in its next stage of growth.
