Pacific Energy Ltd. seeks an experienced commercial leader to drive the conversion of strategic opportunities and lead commercial strategy, pricing, contract negotiations and risk management to deliver robust outcomes.

This senior role spans governance, bid leadership and end-to-end commercial execution across renewables and energy projects. The successful candidate will shape growth initiatives, foster cross-functional collaboration and align commercial commitments with delivery and strategic

Qualifications

• Demonstrated senior commercial experience in energy, infrastructure, mining services or a related industrial sector.
• Strong commercial, contractual and financial acumen, including the ability to challenge inputs, assumptions, pricing and risk allocation.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional bids and negotiations in a complex, deadline-driven environment.
• Sound judgement, clear decision-making and the confidence to escalate material issues early.
• Experience with strategic partnerships, acquisitions or corporate transactions is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Pacific Energy’s Commercial function, driving governance, capability and high-performance outcomes.
• Drive disciplined opportunity governance, commercial decision-making and invest execution through robust pricing, risk management and estimating practices.
• Deliver successful commercial outcomes through strategic bid leadership, transaction execution and stakeholder negotiations.
• Optimise commercial performance through disciplined contracting, proactive risk management and seamless project handover.
• Shape strategic growth initiatives through commercial leadership, portfolio optimization and transaction execution.
• Foster enterprise-wide collaboration and governance by aligning commercial commitments with delivery outcomes and strategic priorities.
