Job summary

The King’s College in Perth is seeking an experienced Head of Learning Area - Arts to provide strategic leadership for Years 7–12, ensuring high-quality teaching, assessment and curriculum alignment with WA Curriculum and SCSA requirements. You will foster a culture of collaboration, professional growth and faith-informed learning within the Arts Learning Area.

Qualifications

Tertiary-qualified educational leader with strong curriculum and assessment expertise.
Proven ability to develop people through coaching and mentoring.
Experience leading curriculum, assessment and teaching practice in a secondary setting.

Responsibilities

Model and promote the College’s Christian faith, mission, values and Statement of Faith through leadership, teaching and conduct.
Provide strategic and operational leadership of the Arts Learning Area for Years 7–12 to ensure high-quality learning and outcomes.
Lead curriculum planning, implementation and monitoring aligned with WA Curriculum and SCSA requirements.
Develop staff through mentoring, coaching and ongoing support to improve teaching and student engagement.
