Job summary

splose is seeking an experienced Product leader to own its public API strategy and ecosystem. You will drive integration governance, partner onboarding, and marketplace curation while collaborating with Engineering, Product, Growth, Design and Customer Success to scale a developer ecosystem.

The role reports to the CPO and focuses on building scalable governance models, defining access controls, and prioritising API capabilities to accelerate global growth.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management, including ownership of a platform or developer-facing product.
• Experience building or scaling a partner or integration ecosystem with governance and onboarding.
• Track record of sourcing and closing third-party partnerships that expanded product capabilities.
• Experience defining structured decision frameworks (build vs buy vs partner) for investments.
• Working understanding of API security, performance and governance.
• Strong systems thinking and ability to design scalable governance models.
• Excellent cross-functional influence with Engineering, Growth and Customer Success.
• Commercial mindset with comfort weighing partnership trade-offs.
• Clear communication translating API concepts for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute splose's integration and ecosystem strategy aligned to product goals.
• Define API access tiering, eligibility, and governance controls.
• Specify partner data requirements, collection, verification and maintenance.
• Oversee API documentation quality and consistency authored by developers.
• Collaborate with Engineering on security and performance standards.
• Work with Product to identify and develop new API capabilities.
• Lead decision frameworks for build vs buy vs partner investments.
