Job summary

Business AI seeks an AI Consultant to help Australian SMEs adopt AI, automation, and digital transformation to grow revenue, reduce costs, and improve capacity. You’ll lead client engagements from strategy to implementation, acting as a trusted advisor to business owners and executives.

This role emphasizes advisory work over pure engineering, guiding clients to identify high-value opportunities, prioritise ROI, and deliver practical solutions with their teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing multiple consulting or advisory accounts (15–20 clients preferred).
• Excellent communication with founders/CEOs and non-technical owners.
• Practical experience implementing AI workflows, dashboards, automations, or processes.
• Structured discovery, mapping, prioritisation, measurement, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Manage 18–20 business clients through 12-month consulting programs with regular calls.
• Diagnose challenges across sales, marketing, ops, finance, customer service, admin.
• Prioritise opportunities by commercial impact and design practical AI workflows and playbooks.
• Guide clients through implementation without owning every task and provide 3–5 hour post-call actions.
• Keep projects on scope and document progress for repeatable frameworks.
