Job summary

Mazenod College is a Catholic Secondary Boys Day | Boarding School conducted by the Oblates of Mary Immaculate.

As a prominent member of Mazenod College and the College Middle Leadership Team, the Head of Academic Services actively embodies and promotes the Vision, Mission, Values, and Oblate Charism of St Eugene de Mazenod and the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. Through authentic Catholic leadership, the Head of Academic Services contributes to the faith formation, wellbeing, and holistic development of students while fostering a culture that upholds the dignity, safety, growth, and academic success of every young man as he comes to learn who he is in the eyes of God.

Some of the key areas the Head of Academic Services will oversee are:

• Strategic leadership across academic operations, data analytics, curriculum administration, assessment, reporting, timetabling, and educational improvement initiatives.
• Develop, implement, and maintain continuous improvement of systems and processes that support Curriculum Delivery, Assessment, Reporting, Scheduling, Data Analysis, and educational decision-making.
• Significant responsibility in the College Timetabling, Examinations and standardised testing. As well as Academic Reporting, NAPLAN, OLNA, External testing programs, Subject Selection processes, Academic Data Analysis, and Regulatory Compliance requirements.

As a Middle Leader you will:

• Model exemplary standards of pastoral care
• Support the wellbeing programs in the College
• Lead the academic, social and spiritual growth of our young men

As a member of the College community, you are expected to support the Oblate objectives, values and ethos, and actively engage in the College's co-curricular activities.

Applicants are required to acquire and or maintain either Accreditation to Teach Religious Education or Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School and hold a current registration with the Teacher Registration Board of WA(TRBWA) with a valid Working with Children Check.
