Job summary

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for Theatre Practitioners at the Aintree site to join the Head & Neck centre. You will work across Main A/B/C theatres and the Elective Care Centre, delivering high standards of perioperative care and assisting with complex head and neck procedures.

Experience in operating theatres and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team is essential; training and on-call opportunities are provided within a 24/7 emergency trauma

Qualifications

• Experience in theatre perioperative care and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to work across multiple theatres and support 24/7 emergency trauma cover.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessment of patient care needs.
• Plan, implement and evaluate care within changing healthcare needs.
• Supervise and support team members.
• Maintain accurate patient records and theatre documentation.
• Engage multidisciplinary teams and patients/families in care planning.
