Job summary

Opal HealthCare is seeking a Head Chef to lead the kitchen team at Carlingford Greens Care Community in Sydney's north-west. You will design seasonal menus, ensure superb dining for residents, and manage budgets and stock with a focus on food safety and compliance.

This role offers a Monday to Friday roster, a competitive salary package with superannuation, study and leadership development through the Opal HealthCare Academy, and opportunities for visa sponsorship where eligible.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent is required.
• Proven experience as Head Chef or Senior Chef in a leadership role.
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
• A passion for culinary excellence and making a difference in aged care.
• Strong leadership, communication, and financial management skills.
• Willingness to complete: Pre-employment medical, Police check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
