Job summary

Opal Aged Care is seeking a passionate Head Chef to lead the Oxley Grove Care Community kitchen, design creative menus, and deliver an outstanding dining experience for our residents.

In this permanent full-time role, you will mentor the kitchen team, uphold the highest food safety standards, manage budgets and stock, create seasonal menus, and enjoy a Monday–Friday roster with 12% superannuation and paid parental leave.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent trade qualification.
• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in a leadership role.
• Passion for culinary excellence and making a difference in aged care.
• Strong leadership, communication, and financial management skills.
• Willingness to complete: Pre-employment medical, NDIS Worker Screening Check
