Job summary

Endeavour Group is seeking a Head Chef to lead the kitchen at The Halfway Hotel, Beverley, north of Adelaide. You will drive menu execution, supervise a team, and manage kitchen operations to deliver consistently great pub classics using local South Australian produce.

The role combines hands-on cooking with leadership responsibilities, with a focus on safety, training, and supplier collaboration. Salary starts from $85,000 plus superannuation and bonus, with opportunities within the Endeavour

We’re searching for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen at the VENUE NAME - the beating heart of our local community and the place where pub classics meet plates locals can’t get enough of.

Salary: From $85,000 + superannuation + bonus

The Halfway Hotel is situated on Port Road on the main strip of Beverley, north of the Adelaide CBD.

It is a local treasure and iconic building that has played host to families, friends, locals and visitors over many years. Our Bistro has a menu influenced by local suppliers and the very best of Adelaide’s produce. We've built a reputation for serving some of best, most succulent and delicious steaks around, and we wouldn't have it any other way. Our ingredients are sourced fresh from local producers to ensure we put the very best of South Australia on your plate. We also have all the pub favourites guests know and love, to satisfy everyone's taste - think fresh seafood, wholesome pastas and clean salads.

If the game is on, guests can bet they'll be able to watch it in our Sports Bar. We offer a huge range of beer and cider on tap, as well as a large selection of wine, spirits and cocktails. Whether stopping in after a long week for a quiet drink, seeing in the weekend with mates or catching all the action on the big screen, our Sports Bar is the place to be.

• Command the kitchen like it’s your own, keeping it running smooth, safe, and profitable
• Be a key part of the leadership crew, working closely with the Publican and FOH team

• Keep the connection between the kitchen and front of house flowing with good vibes and great food every shift

Inherent requirements:

This is a hands‑on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

• You’ve got trade cooking qualifications and food safety certifications sorted
