Job summary

Mamasan Restaurant Group – Nobby Beach QLD is seeking a Head Chef to lead the BabyMama kitchen and shape its next chapter. This is a great fit for a Head Chef looking for a new challenge to put their own stamp on a kitchen or an experienced Senior Sous Chef who is ready to take the next step in their career.

You'll have real ownership of the kitchen, reporting to our Group General Manager and Owner with support from Head Office.

Qualifications

• Solid experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-quality venue.
• Strong understanding of Asian flavours and wok experience is highly desirable.
• Confident in leading a team and running a kitchen day to day.

Responsibilities

• Menu development and specials.
• Ordering, stock control and supplier relationships.
• Rostering and labour management.
• Recruiting, training and developing your team.
• Food safety and kitchen compliance.
• Consistent quality and smooth, well-run services.
• Building a positive, respectful kitchen culture.
