Job summary

Aromas Noosa, located on Hastings Street, is seeking a Head Chef to lead our fast-paced kitchen with a hands-on approach during service, while driving creativity, consistency and operational excellence.

You will work closely with ownership and management to uphold high standards, mentor a large team, manage cost of sales and stock, and develop menus that showcase seasonal flair and the Noosa dining experience.

Qualifications

• Qualified, creative chef with strong culinary leadership
• Experience as Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in high-volume 200+ seat venue
• Knowledge of food costing, stock control and kitchen financials
• Proven ability to lead and inspire large kitchen teams
• Experience with rostering, recruitment, and team development
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Calm, professional approach under pressure
• Passion for a positive, high-performing kitchen culture
• Strong understanding of WHS and kitchen compliance standards

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen team through busy services with confidence and energy
• Drive consistency, quality and presentation across all service periods
