The Narrabeen Sands Hotel in Sydney seeks a Head Chef to lead the kitchen, blending pub classics with standout plates locals crave. This iconic beachfront venue features multiple dining areas and a vibrant team, offering an exciting environment to showcase creativity and leadership.

Joining ALH Hotels within the Endeavour Group, you’ll command daily kitchen operations, drive safety and profitability, and mentor a high-performing brigade while collaborating with the Publican and front-of-house

Qualifications

• Hands-on role requiring physical tasks (lifting/mmoving stock, etc).
• Trade cooking qualifications and food safety certifications required.
• Proven leadership to own and shine in a busy kitchen.
• Ability to lead, inspire, and drive a high-performing kitchen team.

Job description

We're searching for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen at the Narrabeen Sands Hotel - the beating heart of our local community and the place where pub classics meet plates locals can't get enough of.

Standing tall on the corner of Ocean Street, and overlooking the stunning Narrabeen Beach, The Sands Hotel has been an iconic part of the local community since 1907. A modern and exciting hotel that boasts multiple dining areas, state of the art Sport Lounge, as well as comfortable Accommodation and Function facilities. Whether our guests are looking to enjoy a meal and a cheeky cocktail, catch live sport with friends or enjoy a live show, The Sands Hotel is a waterfront escape in the heart of the Northern Beaches.

Salary

From $90,000 + superannuation + bonus

Inherent requirements

This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

• You've got trade cooking qualifications and food safety certifications sorted
