Job summary

Estia Health in Melbourne's aged care residence is seeking a dedicated Chef to deliver nutritious, high-quality meals for residents across diverse dietary needs. You will lead a small kitchen team, ensure food safety standards, and contribute to a warm dining experience.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing meals for older adults.
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and texture-modified diets.
• Proven ability to lead kitchen staff.

• Prepare nutritious, balanced meals meeting residents' dietary needs.
• Lead and mentor kitchen team to meet standards.
• Ensure high quality, hygienic food delivery.
• Collaborate with care team to tailor menus.

• Uses their attention to food handling and hygiene standards and the ability to ensure menus can cater to diverse individual needs
• Trains and mentors, their kitchen team to the expected standards.
