Job summary

Estia Health Chirnside Park in Victoria is seeking a hands-on Head Chef to lead our on-site kitchen team, delivering nutritious, resident-centered meals with warmth and care. You will design menus, supervise cooks and dining staff, ensure food safety and high service standards, and mentor your team in line with Estia Health guidelines.

This Monday–Friday role runs 9am–5pm at our Chirnside Park facility, with a focus on quality, teamwork and compassionate aged-care dining.

About the Role ( Monday to Friday Role )

In this busy, diverse and challenging role you will deliver exceptional service to our residents to ensuring their meal experience is to the highest standard.

This is a Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 role, based in our amazing facility at Chirnside Park. if the hours suits your life-work balance

As Head Chef you'll:

• Join a passionate team of food creators striving to deliver excellence in food nutrition catering to individual and diverse needs
• Take pride in creating a warm and welcoming environment where residents can look forward to enjoying a meal in the company of others
• Make a rewarding contribution by creating nutritious and healthy meals that bring delight to our residents
• Manage a team of cooks, food services and nutrition.

You’ll be a real team player who:

• Brings their passion for creating nutritious, healthy and delicious food to create meal experiences that enrich the lives of our residents
• Takes great pride in preparing and delivering appropriately nutritious food to the highest quality and service standards in line with Estia Health guidelines
• Uses their attention to food handling and hygiene standards and the ability to ensure menus can cater to diverse individual needs
• Trains and mentors, their kitchen team to the expected standards.
