Job summary

Coutts Commercial Hotel is seeking a Head Chef to lead the kitchen in Ayr. You will be responsible for driving kitchen performance, training and leading a high-performing team, and ensuring the delivery of pub-classic dishes that locals love.

You will join a collaborative leadership group and work closely with the Publican and Front of House to deliver outstanding dining experiences every service.

Qualifications

• Hands-on leadership and safety-focused kitchen management.
• Trade cooking qualifications and food safety certifications required.
• Experience and pride to own and elevate the kitchen.

Inherent Requirements

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

• You’ve got the experience, confidence, and pride to own the kitchen and make it shine
• You’ve got trade cooking qualifications and food safety certifications sorted
• You live and breathe the Head Chef life - creating food people talk about and coming in each day ready to lead
