Job summary

Opal HealthCare is seeking a Head Chef for Clyde North Terrace Care Community to lead the kitchen, design seasonal menus, and deliver an outstanding dining experience for residents. You will oversee the kitchen team, ensure food safety and hygiene, and manage budgets and stock with a day-time, Monday–Friday roster.

Ideal candidates hold a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery, with proven Head Chef leadership, a passion for culinary excellence, and a commitment to aged care standards.

Qualifications

• Head Chef or Senior Chef leadership experience
• Creative menu design and seasonal planning
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP

What You’ll Need:

• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent trade qualification.


• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in a leadership role.

• Strong leadership, communication, and financial management skills.
