Job summary

Locale Noosa on Hastings Street in Noosa is seeking a Head Chef to take responsibility for the performance, standards and day-to-day direction of the kitchen, leading from the front while overseeing menu development, food quality, staffing, training, ordering, stock control and food costs.

• Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, presentation and consistency across every service.
• Contribute to seasonal menu development while respecting Locale's genuine Italian identity.
• Remain hands-on and highly present through key services.
• Manage ordering, stock control, wastage and food costs with strong commercial awareness.
• Oversee kitchen staffing, training, organisation and day-to-day operating standards.
• Work collaboratively with Restaurant Managers and the front-of-house team to deliver a complete guest experience.
